Workshop Facilitation
Often when we are seeking a change in perspective, creating an intentional and dedicated space to process can go a long way.
Workshops are either single sessions or a short series focused on a particular goal. They can also be an excellent way to "dip your toes in" and experience art therapy for the first time.
My approach to workshop facilitation is interactive, engaging, and grounded in creativity. I believe that learning and growth thrive in environments where participants feel safe, supported, and empowered to explore new ideas and practices. Whether I'm leading workshops on trauma recovery, self-esteem, or creativity, my goal is to create a space that fosters connection, engagement, and personal transformation.
I am able to develop and adapt art therapy workshop experiences that are tailored towards your group's needs and goals.

Individual Counseling

I’m passionate about helping individuals heal from trauma, build self-esteem, and navigate life transitions. Through a combination of art therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and trauma-informed approaches, I create a supportive space where connection and creativity foster healing. I believe that healing is deeply tied to human connection, and that when we feel seen and understood, we can begin to transform.
My areas of expertise include trauma recovery, anxiety, depression, LGBTQIA+ issues, and identity struggles. Having personally experienced the healing power of art therapy, I know firsthand how creativity can help process pain and unlock growth. Whether or not you identify as an artist, I believe everyone has the capacity for creative expression, and this process can be a powerful tool for self-discovery and change.
I approach therapy with kindness, compassion, and humor, working to empower you to find your voice and embrace your unique journey. As a “tragic optimist,” I believe that by acknowledging life’s challenges, we can find meaning and purpose. Together, we will build connection, resilience, and the strength to move forward.

Group Art Therapy
Similar to workshops, group art therapy offers a dedicated and intentional space for growth and connection. Group therapy typically lasts 8-12 weeks, and allows for more in-depth work and relationship building.

In my group therapy sessions, I aim to create a safe, supportive environment where individuals can connect, share, and heal together. I believe that group therapy offers a unique opportunity to gain perspective, build empathy, and realize that you're not alone in your struggles. It is through these shared experiences and authentic connections that healing begins.

I lead with compassion and kindness, encouraging group members to express themselves in ways that feel comfortable. The creative process can be a powerful way to foster connection and understanding. My role is to guide and support the group, helping individuals use their collective wisdom to work through issues like trauma, anxiety, self-esteem, and life transitions.
In group therapy, the dynamic between participants creates a sense of community care, where members can find validation, empathy, and insight from others. It’s a space where vulnerability is met with understanding, and each person is encouraged to contribute in their own unique way. I emphasize the importance of confidentiality, respect, and trust so that everyone feels safe to engage in meaningful dialogue.
Ultimately, group therapy is about building resilience, developing new coping strategies, and creating meaningful relationships that support ongoing healing and growth. Please let me know if you are interested in group work, as I am hoping to get an art therapy group up and running!

Clinical Supervision & Consultation
In my approach to clinical supervision, I focus on creating a supportive and reflective space where therapists can deepen their clinical skills, explore their personal and professional development, and receive guidance in a way that feels empowering and collaborative. I believe supervision is not just about skill-building, but also about fostering a deeper connection to the work, ensuring that self-care, compassion, and personal growth remain central to the therapeutic process.
I work with supervisees to explore their therapeutic style and identify areas for growth, providing feedback that is constructive, compassionate, and rooted in mutual respect. Whether you’re working through complex cases, navigating challenging client dynamics, or exploring your own emotional responses, I aim to support you in cultivating self-awareness, confidence, and a strong clinical identity. I integrate the same principles of kindness, connection, and creativity that I use with clients, acknowledging that the supervisory relationship itself is a source of growth.
Supervision with me is interactive and reflective, with an emphasis on honing clinical skills, ethical decision-making, and developing a personal, trauma-informed practice. I also value the importance of creating space for open dialogue, where difficult emotions, burnout, and personal challenges can be discussed honestly and without judgment. I firmly believe that a healthy, empowered clinician is the foundation for effective therapy, and I aim to help supervisees build the skills they need to thrive both professionally and personally.
Through supervision, I strive to create a nurturing space where each clinician can feel supported in their journey and leave with the tools, insights, and encouragement to continue growing as both therapists and individuals.
